Drniš is a historic town in Croatia's Šibenik-Knin County, nestled between three mountains: Promina, Moseć, and Svilaja. The town's skyline is characterized by its medieval fortifications, including Ključica, Kamičak, Bogočin, Nečven, and Trošenj, which are among Croatia's most significant historical defense structures. Promina Mountain, with its highest peak Čavnovka at 1,148 meters above sea level, dominates the Drniš area and offers panoramic views of the sea, the Šibenik archipelago, and the Kornati islands. The mountain is accessible via several marked hiking trails and a macadam road, leading to a mountain lodge at 855 meters above sea level, making it a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
