Bistra is a municipality in Zagreb County, Croatia, established in 1995 after separating from the former Municipality of Zaprešić. The municipal seat is Donja Bistra, which had a population of 1,418 residents as of the 2011 census. The municipality encompasses six settlements: Donja Bistra, Gornja Bistra, Bukovje Bistransko, Novaki Bistranski, Oborovo Bistransko, and Poljanica Bistranska, with a total population of 6,632.
