Ashey Station, situated on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, is a charming heritage station located between Havenstreet and Smallbrook Junction. Originally opened in 1875 for the Ryde and Newport Railway, it was reduced to an unmanned halt in 1953 due to ground subsidence and later sold into private ownership in 1968 . In February 2024, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway acquired the station buildings and surrounding land, with plans to restore the station to its 1926 appearance .
A brick house and smaller building sit beside a railway track that curves gently to the right, surrounded by green grass and trees under an overcast sky.
