From the summit of Brundage Mountain at approximately 7,640 ft (2328 m), visitors enjoy sweeping 360-degree vistas spanning the Seven Devils Wilderness, Salmon River Mountains, Payette Lake, Long Valley, and the distant Blue and Wallowa Mountains. The summit is easily accessible via the Bluebird Express chairlift, offering a scenic 12–14 minute ride before stepping into alpine terrain framed by wildflowers and rocky ridgelines. Two short summit hikes—the Hidden Valley Overlook trail to the north and the Lookout Trail to the south—offer intimate vantages of the surrounding peaks and valleys in under a mile each way.
