On Tuesday, the Korea Exchange (KRX) implemented a circuit breaker for the KOSPI buy-side as futures surged over 5 percent. This 'sidecar' measure was last activated on April 10, 2023. The KOSPI opened at 5,114.81 points with a 3.34% rise and peaked at mid-4% during trading.
