A Tragic Accident in Hong Kong

A 65-year-old woman lost her life after being struck by a medium goods vehicle in Kwun Tong district. The incident occurred on Kwun Tong Road near the Tsui Ping Road junction where she was pushing a trolley loaded with cardboard.

The collision resulted in fatal injuries, causing her to be thrown through the air and land unconscious on the ground. Paramedics arrived swiftly and transported her to United Christian Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 6:20 am.

The scene left behind a pool of blood, cardboard debris, and skid marks exceeding 10 meters in length, underscoring the gravity of the accident. This heartbreaking event serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
