Israel severely restricts Palestinians' access to Al-Aqsa during Ramadan

During the first Friday prayers of Ramadan, Israel has implemented strict limits on Palestinian worshipers accessing the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem. Only 10,000 Palestinians from the West Bank are permitted entry with permits, significantly fewer than the usual numbers that attend.
