The Bahraini Ministry of Interior has announced the arrests of two individuals for misusing social media. Aged 27 and 37, their content was deemed a legal violation potentially threatening security and public order.

Conducted by the Anti Cybercrime Directorate, the operation followed live broadcasts and video clips found on the suspects' personal accounts. The Ministry emphasized that such material breaches laws impacting public stability and requires immediate action.

Legal procedures are finalizing to refer the two suspects to the Public Prosecution, underlining Bahrain's commitment to monitoring and regulating digital content for public safety and legal compliance.
