UAE Intercepts Iranian Missiles and Drones

The United Arab Emirates has successfully intercepted a significant number of Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, demonstrating the effectiveness of its air defense systems. The UAE Air Force and Air Defense forces have been actively engaged in countering this large-scale attack, intercepting 132 out of 137 missiles and 195 out of 209 drones launched towards their territories. While five missiles fell into the sea, 14 drones caused minor damage to civilian areas and waters.

A single civilian death was reported due to debris from intercepted missiles and drones, but the overall security situation in the UAE remains stable. The UAE Ministry has condemned these attacks as a dangerous escalation and a violation of national sovereignty and international law, emphasizing their readiness to take necessary measures for protection.
