Bangladesh is grappling with rising LNG prices following a supply halt from Qatar. Two shipments from Gunvor and Vitol are priced at $28.28 and $23.08 per mmBtu
Bangladesh is facing a significant increase in liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices due to a supply interruption from Qatar. The first shipment from Gunvor is priced at $28.28 per million British thermal units (mmBtu) and is scheduled to arrive between March 15–16. The second shipment from Vitol, priced at $23.08 per mmBtu, is set to arrive between March 18–19. This development is causing substantial difficulties for Petrobangla as it strives to maintain stable energy supplies crucial for the nation's economic growth.
