Anthony Russell, 43, has been charged with the murder of Ian Huntley, the killer of two young schoolgirls in the Cambridgeshire town of Soham. Huntley, who was serving a life sentence for the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, was attacked at HMP Frankland in Durham. Russell is set to appear at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court via video link on Wednesday, according to Durham Constabulary. The victims were best friends and their families are still coping with the tragic loss. The Ministry of Justice has called Huntley's crimes one of the most shocking in UK history.
