NATO Intercepts Iran Missile Aimed at Turkey

Türkiye, a NATO member, reported that its air defences shot down a third ballistic missile fired from Iran. The missile interception comes as relations between Türkiye and Iran remain strained over regional security issues. Ankara has demanded Tehran provide explanations for the incidents and has enhanced its missile defences with the deployment of the US Patriot system in southeastern Turkey.
