South Korea has initiated evacuations to safely bring its citizens out of the conflict zone in Iran. Amid the ongoing military conflict triggered by U.S.-led strikes and Iranian retaliatory attacks, Seoul has been actively organizing evacuations. Recent reports indicate that additional Koreans have left Iran via government-chartered buses, heading to Turkmenistan for safety. Earlier, 24 Koreans were evacuated from Tehran to Turkmenistan, and more than 100 people have been assisted in leaving the region.
