The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported intercepting over 100 Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched towards Israel. "Iran sent more than 100 UAVs at Israel. We intercepted them," the IDF stated.
Iranian security forces claim to have discovered a secret Israeli drone factory operating within Iran. The Times of Israel quoted the Tasnim news agency which suggested more such facilities may exist and are being searched for.
Israel's recent strikes targeted sites within Iran. The Wall Street Journal reports these strikes involved explosive-carrying quadcopter drones, rockets, and other advanced equipment used to target Iranian nuclear scientists, military officials, anti-aircraft systems, and missile sites.
The IDF also asserts that Iran continues to target Israeli civilians indiscriminately. "All Israelis are targets for the Iranian regime. All Israelis are heroes to us," the IDF declared.
The IDF reported that Hamas fired a projectile from southern Gaza, triggering sirens in southern Israel, showing that the conflict is multi-fronted.
In a significant long-range operation, Israeli Air Forces struck an Iranian refueling aircraft at Mashhad Airport, approximately 2,300 kilometers from Israel. This operation is the longest-range strike since the beginning of “Operation Rising Lion.”
