A tragic car accident in Dublin, Ohio, has resulted in the death of Ethan Perry, a 24-year-old man, and involved former Ohio State Buckeyes All-American lineman, Kirk Barton.
The accident occurred early Saturday morning on U.S. 33. According to reports, Barton's Ford F150 Raptor allegedly struck a Lexus at high speed on West Bridge Street, just west of Franklin Street.
Ethan Perry, the driver of the Lexus, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Barton, 40, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital before being released into police custody. He faces a second-degree felony count of aggravated vehicular manslaughter due to suspected driving under the influence.
The incident has prompted an outpouring of prayers and condolences for the victim's family and friends.
