According to reports, one victim is in critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. The second victim is in stable condition, having been shot in the leg. The incident took place as Pride celebrations were concluding, shortly after the New York City Pride March.

Douglas Breland, a bouncer at a nearby establishment, shared his experience, recounting hearing gunshots and witnessing people fleeing the scene. He had initially mistaken the sounds for fireworks.
