According to the ministry's statement on Sunday, Israeli forces had encircled the Indonesian Hospital located in Beit Lahia. Heavy gunfire has reportedly been preventing the entry of patients, medical personnel, and essential supplies. The hospital was the last functioning medical facility in northern Gaza.

The Israeli military initiated "Operation Gideon's Chariot" on Saturday, marking a surge in strikes within Gaza. This follows reports of Hamas offering to release nine hostages in exchange for a 60-day truce and the release of Palestinian prisoners after negotiations.
Complete Shutdown of Northern Hospitals
The health ministry stated: "After the destruction of Beit Hanoun Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital, and the Indonesian Hospital being put out of service, all public hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip are now out of service."
