Cindy Rodriguez Singh: FBI's Most Wanted for Son's Murder; Reward Increased

Cindy Rodriguez Singh, wanted in the murder of her son Noel, is now on the FBI's Most Wanted list. The reward for her capture has increased to $250,000.

Cindy Rodriguez Singh Added to FBI's Most Wanted List

Cindy Rodriguez Singh, wanted in connection with the 2022 murder of her six-year-old son, Noel Rodriguez Alvarez, has been placed on the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. Federal officials announced the escalation of the search on Tuesday.

Increased Reward

The FBI has significantly increased the reward for information leading to Singh's arrest, offering $250,000, a substantial jump from the previous $25,000.

Fleeing to India

Authorities believe Rodriguez Singh fled the United States and is currently in India with her husband, Arshdeep Singh, and six of her children. US agents are collaborating with international partners to locate and extradite her.

Timeline of Events

Just days after Noel was officially reported missing, Rodriguez Singh, her husband, and their other children boarded a one-way flight to India on March 22, 2023. Noel was not on that flight and hadn't been seen since November 2022. Rodriguez Singh was indicted by a Tarrant County grand jury in October 2023 on charges of capital murder and other offenses related to Noel’s disappearance.

Details of the Investigation

During the investigation, officials uncovered a series of false claims made by Rodriguez Singh about Noel’s whereabouts, including that he was in Mexico with relatives or had been sold to a stranger. Noel was one of ten children born to Rodriguez Singh, and he lived in squalid conditions with his mother and stepfather in Everman, Texas.

Everman city manager Craig Spencer described Rodriguez Singh as having an “extensive criminal history.” She had previously been investigated by child protective services.
