Details of the Arrests

Three Iranian men, identified as Mostafa Sepahvand, Farhad Javadi Manesh, and Shapoor Qalehali Khani Noori, appeared in a London court after their arrest on May 3rd. They are accused of spying for the Islamic Republic.

UK Authorities' Statement

UK authorities stated that these individuals had entered the country irregularly between 2016 and 2022 and were allegedly involved in spying activities between August 2024 and February 2025.

Other Arrests and Investigations

In a separate investigation, five other Iranians were arrested on May 3rd on suspicion of terrorism-related activities. Four have been released, while the investigation remains active. The fifth individual was bailed to an unspecified date in May.
