Abhay Nayak: EasyJet Flight Bomb Threat Suspect Identified
An EasyJet flight from London Luton to Glasgow was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger, Abhay Nayak, allegedly made bomb threats.
The 41-year-old, reportedly of Indian origin with refugee status, caused panic by shouting slogans and claiming to have a bomb.
The incident occurred mid-air, leading to passengers restraining Nayak.
The plane landed safely at Glasgow Airport, where Nayak was arrested.
He is now facing charges related to endangering an aircraft but not terrorism charges, as no explosives were found.
He appeared in Paisley Sheriff Court and remains in custody.
