ICE Operations Cease in Maine

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine has announced that ICE large-scale operations in the state have ceased after discussions with Secretary Kristi Noem.

The operations, which led to over 100 arrests, are no longer ongoing or planned. Collins emphasized the need for a reconsideration of immigration enforcement tactics in Maine.

She also mentioned that ICE and border patrol will continue their normal operations, which have been in place for many years.
