Two Indian jewelry stores in Irving and Frisco were recently raided as part of an alleged gold scam targeting senior citizens. Over $55 million was stolen from victims across Texas, with approximately $7 million coming from Collin County residents aged 65 and older.
The suspects convinced victims that they faced federal investigation and instructed them to purchase large quantities of gold and precious metals to avoid arrest. Several couriers and store owners were arrested during the raids conducted by the Collin County Sheriff's Office and federal authorities.
