Indian CEO Shares US Visa Rejection for Investor Meeting

Dhananjay Yadav, the CEO of Bengaluru-based wearable technology startup NeoSapien, recently encountered a frustrating situation with his US visa application. Despite having a valid invitation from Hari Valiyath, co-founder of Pyxis (a $200M+ funded company), Yadav's visa was rejected without clear reasons.

Yadav, who had previously studied and worked in the US, intended to attend investor meetings and establish B2B partnerships. His trip was sponsored by his company and his salary is minimal as a founder. Despite these explanations, the visa was denied.

Yadav expressed his frustration, emphasizing that there were no valid reasons for the rejection. He has worked in Berlin and Bengaluru before founding NeoSapien, adding to his experience in the tech industry.
