Iran Supreme Leader Warns US Warship Risks

The Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a warning to the United States regarding its military deployments near Iran. He stated that even the strongest military force in the world may face defeat and emphasized Tehran's capability to counter any potential threats from Washington.

Referring to US warships deployed near Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said, 'A warship is a dangerous piece of military hardware, but more dangerous than that warship is the weapon that can send it to the bottom of the sea.'

His remarks come amid heightened tensions between Tehran and Washington. The US has repeatedly threatened Iran's leadership and warned of potential military action against its nuclear program. Despite these threats, Khamenei asserted that the Islamic Republic would not be defeated.
