Lawmakers Probe Jeffrey Epstein's Zorro Ranch

New Mexico lawmakers have authorized a probe into the activities at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch near Santa Fe. A special committee will investigate alleged criminal activities linked to Epstein and his associates, coinciding with federal efforts to release new information.

Survivors have reported abuses at the ranch, including Virginia Giuffre, who claimed frequent visits there. Epstein faced multiple civil suits but was never charged. State Rep. Andrea Romero noted activities at the ranch under Epstein’s guise.

Former New Mexico Attorney General Hector Balderas attempted an investigation in 2019 but was halted by federal prosecutors. Current AG Raúl Torrez has assigned a special agent to handle new crimes uncovered. The state DOJ also requested an unredacted email about two foreign girls buried at Zorro Ranch.

This development follows increased scrutiny of Epstein’s activities and calls for justice.
