An Australian man, Don James, had a terrifying experience near Port Macquarie, New South Wales, involving an unusually aggressive kangaroo.
Unexpected Encounter
The kangaroo reportedly chased James into floodwaters, where it allegedly attempted to drown him. Local resident Kristy Lees witnessed the bizarre incident.

Lees described the scene as a "boxing match" between James and the kangaroo. She stated the kangaroo held James underwater.

James, who previously survived a great white shark encounter, managed to escape when the kangaroo was apparently spooked. He expressed disbelief at being targeted by such aggressive wildlife.
