Sahil Kumar, 23, an Indian student, is missing in Canada. Hamilton Police are asking for help in locating him. He was last seen in Toronto.
A 23-year-old Indian student, Sahil Kumar, has gone missing in Canada shortly after arriving to study at Humber College. The Hamilton Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating him.
Police are particularly asking the Indian community to check local Gurdwaras, as Sahil may have sought shelter there. He is reportedly unfamiliar with the area and might be lost.
Sahil was last seen leaving Union Station in Toronto around 12:50 pm on May 16th. His mobile phone has been switched off since 1:31 pm on the same day. His passport and laptop were left at his home in Hamilton.
Investigators are working with Metrolinx, hospitals, Toronto police, and Humber College. His online activity suggests he may have been interested in visiting the Toronto waterfront. There is no evidence suggesting Kumar was in any physical or mental distress at the time of his disappearance.
Sahil Kumar is originally from Dadri, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father is a retired Army personnel. He was residing with a person from the same village.
