Six US Soldiers Killed in Kuwait Base Strike

Six American soldiers were killed in an Iranian drone attack on a military base in Kuwait, confirmed by the US Central Command. The initial death toll was three, but later confirmed as six after more bodies were found and one succumbed to injuries.

Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that a 'powerful weapon' hit a tactical operations center in Kuwait. Three officials reported the soldiers were working in a makeshift office space with 12ft steel barriers. The US has over 13,000 troops in Kuwait, and Iran has retaliated by striking Gulf allies like Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Additionally, three US fighter jets were downed in a friendly fire incident in Kuwait.
