This incident follows a deadly strike on a school in Minab, southern Iran, which reportedly killed at least 165 people. The US media reported that the damage occurred during a military operation targeting facilities linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, including a naval base near the Strait of Hormuz.

While neither the US nor Israel has officially confirmed responsibility, tensions remain high following the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in a prior airstrike.
