Iranian missile strikes near an Israeli nuclear site in Dimona and Arad have injured over 160 people. The attacks follow a US-Israeli strike on Iran, with Tehra
More than 160 people were injured in missile attacks on two southern Israeli towns near a nuclear research facility. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported no damage to the site, located about 13km outside Dimona.
Tehran fired over 400 missiles at Israel following a US-Israeli strike on Iran in late February. Israeli air defenses intercepted most of them, but two direct hits occurred in Arad and Dimona, causing significant damage and injuries.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog visited the impacted areas to assess the damage. Investigations are underway into how Iran's missiles managed to breach Israel's air defense system, a reminder of the ongoing challenges in protecting against such threats.
