UK Police Investigate Antisemitic Arson Attack on Jewish Ambulances
British police are investigating a suspected arson attack as an antisemitic hate crime after four Jewish community ambulances were set on fire in London. No injuries were reported, but the prime minister condemned the incident as a 'deeply shocking antisemitic arson attack.'
Around 40 firefighters responded to the blaze at Highfield Court in Golders Green, a north London area with a significant Jewish population. London’s Metropolitan Police force confirmed that the burnt vehicles belonged to the Jewish Community Ambulance service and had multiple cylinders exploding, breaking windows in an adjacent block.
