Zion Williamson is accused of rape and abuse in a lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend. The suit details alleged incidents from 2018 to 2023.
New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is facing serious allegations. A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court details disturbing accusations of rape and abuse from a woman claiming to be his ex-girlfriend.
The woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges two instances of rape in 2020, along with a pattern of abusive and controlling behavior between 2018 and 2023.
The lawsuit describes incidents where Williamson allegedly forced himself on Doe, including one at his Beverly Hills home. He is also accused of threatening her, monitoring her location, and going through her personal belongings. The legal action also claims Williamson threatened to have his security guard harm her and her parents.
Williamson, a former Duke standout and the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, has faced injury challenges during his professional career. Despite his potential, trade rumors circulated after a season where he played only 30 games. The Pelicans publicly denied these rumors.
