Epstein's lawyer, David Schoen, addresses Elon Musk's claim about Trump's involvement in the Epstein case, stating he specifically questioned Epstein about it.
David Schoen, who represented Jeffrey Epstein, has broken his silence regarding Elon Musk's recent claims linking President Donald Trump to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Schoen stated that he specifically asked Epstein if he possessed any information that could potentially harm Trump, to which Epstein responded negatively. "I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he had no information to hurt President Trump. I specifically asked him!" Schoen said.
Schoen's decision to publicly discuss this matter after Epstein's death has ignited controversy. Questions have been raised about potential breaches of attorney-client privilege.
The term 'Epstein files' refers to a collection of documents, court records, and investigative materials related to Jeffrey Epstein's activities. These files contain names of prominent individuals, including Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton.
Musk insinuated that Trump might have been involved in Epstein's sex crimes, prompting calls for an apology from MAGA activists.
Previous releases of the Epstein files have not revealed any new information implicating Trump.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) is currently reviewing thousands of Epstein-related documents, but a timeline for future releases remains uncertain.
