Pakistani Airline's Blunder: Passenger Lands in Jeddah Instead of Karachi
In a significant oversight, a Pakistani airline erroneously flew a passenger to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, rather than his intended destination, Karachi. The affected passenger, Shahzain, alleges that despite presenting his ticket to the air hostess, he was not notified that he had boarded the incorrect flight.
The Incident
Shahzain was scheduled to travel from Lahore to Karachi. He claims that two aircraft were stationed at Lahore airport's domestic terminal, and he remained unaware of the mix-up until the flight was well underway.
Legal Action
Expressing his distress, Shahzain has issued a legal notice to the airline, accusing them of negligence. He is demanding compensation for the inconvenience, the trouble he endured, and reimbursement for the additional travel costs incurred.
Airline's Negligence
The Pakistan Airport Authority has addressed the incident, with Lahore Airport Management attributing the error to the airline's 'negligence and carelessness'. A formal request for action has been submitted to the relevant authorities.
