Police responded to reports of gunfire around 1 a.m., having initially dispersed a large gathering earlier that evening. Upon their return, they discovered one deceased victim and several others with gunshot wounds. A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and a female victim later died at a hospital.

Six surviving victims were transported to local hospitals. An armed individual was apprehended at the scene. The after-party was promoted on social media following the Hard Summer music festival in Inglewood.
