Afghan Man Admits to Nuneaton Rape
An Afghan national, identified as Ahmad Mulakhil, has pleaded guilty to the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton, central England.
Details of the Crime
The crime took place in July. Mulakhil initially denied the charge but changed his plea during a hearing at Warwick Crown Court. He was also charged with other offenses, including abduction and sexual assault, which he previously denied.
Co-Defendant Involved
Mohammad Kabir, also appeared in court. He faces charges of aiding and abetting the rape, attempting to take a child, and intentional strangulation related to the same incident. Kabir previously denied all charges.
Legal Proceedings
Both Mulakhil and Kabir have been remanded in custody. A further hearing is scheduled for December 12, and their trial is set to begin in January.
