Authorities report that an officer shot and killed a man who had brandished a knife outside a terminal door. According to St. Louis County Police spokesperson Vera Clay, the situation escalated rapidly. The man displayed a knife to the officers and, despite attempts to de-escalate using Tasers, continued to advance towards them. In response to the perceived threat, one officer discharged their firearm, resulting in the man's death.
