Kumar's attempt to illicitly enter Canada from Buffalo, New York, via the Peace Bridge crossing was foiled, despite his meticulous efforts to evade detection with a falsified identity. He initially cleared primary inspection by presenting a fake name and an altered date of birth. However, his journey abruptly ended during a secondary inspection, where advanced biometric systems unmasked his true identity. Fugitive Status and Detention

Following his arrest, Vishat Kumar was transferred into the custody of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
