Aeroline Coach Services Between Singapore and Malaysia Resume November 28

Aeroline, a prominent coach operator connecting Singapore and Malaysia, is poised to restart its cross-border services on November 28. This reinstatement follows a temporary suspension imposed by Malaysia's Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) due to the use of unauthorized passenger pick-up and drop-off points.

Details of the Suspension and Resumption

The bus company, a familiar name for travel between the two nations, had ceased operations since November 6. APAD mandated the temporary halt after discovering that Aeroline had, on at least three separate occasions throughout February, May, and October, facilitated passenger boarding and alighting at locations not recognized as approved terminals. Prior to the suspension, the agency had issued warnings, directing Aeroline to shift its operations to compliant terminals.

Initially, Aeroline’s month-long suspension was scheduled to conclude on December 5. However, a recent official communication from APAD confirmed an earlier resumption date, providing relief to both the operator and its clientele. Aeroline had previously indicated an expedited return in a Facebook announcement on November 25, conveying appreciation to its loyal customer base with the message: "Your trust carried us when our buses could not." The company had also sought public support during its operational halt.

Services Now Available

With the necessary approvals secured, Aeroline has already commenced selling tickets for its routes. Services are listed to depart from Singapore’s HarbourFront Centre, with the destination in the Malaysian capital clearly specified as the Corus Hotel. This swift resolution allows commuters to adjust their travel plans and resume their journeys between Singapore and Malaysia well ahead of the previously anticipated date, marking a return to regular, approved operations for the coach operator.
