If US Attacks, Iran Will Strike US Bases

Iran has stated that in the event of a US attack, it will target US military bases in the region. The statement was made by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi during an interview with Qatari Al Jazeera TV. He clarified that this action would not involve attacking neighboring countries but instead focus on US bases located within those nations.

The remarks come amid ongoing tensions over nuclear discussions and recent threats from President Trump regarding uranium enrichment and missile development. Iran has consistently denied any intention to weaponize nuclear technology, while the US has expressed concerns about the potential threat of a nuclear-powered Iran.

Araqchi also mentioned that any dialogue with the US should not include discussions on ballistic missile development or support for armed groups in the region. He emphasized that Tehran is only willing to negotiate its nuclear issue and not other matters.
