Sri Lankan Influencer Arrested for Harassment in Canada

A 45-year-old Sri Lankan influencer, Mohamed Askar Mohamed-Razik, was apprehended by Toronto police for allegedly committing multiple acts of criminal harassment. The incidents occurred in various areas of the city, including Dundas Street West, Union Station, and David Pecaut Square. On one occasion, the accused approached a TTC employee at Union Station and filmed them while making offensive remarks about their ethnicity. In another incident, he reportedly recorded a woman without her consent in Yonge Street and continued to do so despite being asked to stop.

The accused has been charged with four counts of Criminal Harassment and is set to appear in court. Police have warned that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. The case remains under investigation.
