Police Officer and Suspect Shot in Baltimore Active Shooter Incident

A police officer and a suspected gunman were shot during an active shooter incident in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday. The shooting happened around 12:30 pm in the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue in northwest Baltimore.

Officers responding to reports of an armed suspect encountered gunfire, leading to an exchange that left both the officer and the suspect wounded. The injured officer was taken for treatment, with injuries not life-threatening. The suspect’s condition remains unknown.
